We love our clients! They say such nice things!
"This salon was fabulous. I was visiting from out of town and needed a haircut. I was able to get in the same day I called, with Renee. She proficiently styled my wavy hair, and was really personable while doing so. The kicker was that when I told her how much I liked her hair color, she made time to color my hair on the spot. It all turned out wonderfully. The staff is very familial, and atmosphere is more like hanging out with your friends, instead of a stuffy salon. It was personal service, with artisanal craftsmanship (many of the ladies also teach, so they are up-to-date on the latest techniques). I would definitely go back again, even if it means making a 2 hour drive to get there."

"Great salon with great service and friendly stylists. I've been here twice now, once for colors and once for a cut. I got an ombre dye done here, and I love it! They are creative but very skilled! The store owner is super friendly and adorable and the atmosphere in the salon is cozy. Whenever my girlfriends and I need a treat after exams, we come straight here and leave feeling like fresh new ladies! I usually call ahead to make an appointment, so I would recommend that. They don't push you to buy a bunch of other products and the price points are very reasonable."

"After my move to the East Side, my usual salon in North Olmsted wasn't going to work for me time-wise. I started searching for a new one, and came across the Studio. I called for a same-day appointment and they were able to sneak me in, awesome!
This may be the best haircut I've ever had! My stylist was Simon and he was very laid-back and cool. He was knowledgeable and friendly without being fake. I wanted a new color - some reddish and darker brown highlights - which is more than I normally go for. He talked me through the whole process and assured me it wouldn't look too drastic.
After the cut and style, he double checked all of his work - something I'm not used to and seemed like a bit of a perfectionist. Nothing wrong with that in my book! My hair looks awesome, healthy, and the color is perfect!
I think I've found my new salon!"

"I've never really been one to fuss with my hair. I've never dyed it and only get 3-4 haircuts a year. But as I've transitioned into my "adult" life, I decided to take the plunge and finally splurge on an "adult" cut and color. I'm new to the downtown Cleveland area, so I turned to Yelp for suggestions as to a great salon. I called on a Friday and they were able to fit me in the same day - always a plus!!
Renee took care of me and she was amazing. She talked me through the whole process and got me super excited for my big reveal. The salon is laid back, fun and easy to get to. All the other employees were friendly and very welcoming as well. I have been raving about my hair and have received so many compliments on it. Thanks!"

"First off, I love the style of this salon. I love that they upcycle all of their old flyers and refill old product bottles. I love the feel of the colors, the cleanliness and organization and the friendliness of the staff. I get my hair done by Renee and will never let another person touch these locks again! She talks me through ideas when I come to her and am not 100% sure of what I want and helped me learn how to style my short look. I decided to chop off all my hair a few weeks ago and I am still getting compliments on it. I highly recommend her if you don't currently have a stylist that you love. Her personality and ability to read people plus her knowledge of hair makes her an incredible stylist. I couldn't be more happy with my experience! If I could give her and the studio more than a 5, I would in a heartbeat!!!"

"Love getting my hair done here and won't go anywhere else. I've been going there for almost three years now and have never been disappointed. I get a cut every 6-8 weeks, with an all-over highlight every 3-4 appointments. Rachelle, the owner, always does a fabulous job and listens to what I want. I've also had several updo's done there for special events....always very sexy.
Great service, great staff, great location...always offer me a cup of coffee and encourage me to "put my feet up" during the shampoos, which are also awesome! You'll pay a little more, but it's worth it!"

"I like the Studio. I've gone there about four consecutive times now to get my hair cut, which is pretty much the most I've ever been loyal to any salon/stylist. The people are super cool, the atmosphere is laid back , and the haircuts are affordable. About $40. My stylist is Renee and she listens to what I have to say and has no ego about it. And true story, she's given me a super cute hair cut. Also the owner, Rachelle, is invested in the community and does fundraising events for various organizations throughout the year. Give it a try!!"

"Leading up to my good friends wedding last weekend I debated back and forth about whether or not to fork out the dough to have my hair done. After reasoning with myself that my version of an updo compared to a professional one was world's apart, I opted for the professional route. Here we are though less than two weeks out from the wedding, I'm thinking there's no way any salon is going to fit in me in for an updo on such short notice within the afternoon time frame I was looking for. No such case here! The fine staff at The Studio were more than happy to help me out, and scheduled my appointment right when I needed it. Easy 5 minute drive from my hotel downtown and free/available street parking! Now that's what we are missing here in Chicago!!!
Anyways - Stacy did a fantastic job and had me out of there in enough time to get back to my hotel to finish my ugly duckling to swan transformation and drive 40 minutes down to the wedding. They even gave my boyfriend a quick clean up shave on his neck to touch up his rapidly growing hair free of charge!
Overall the salon and staff here are top notch. Which is too bad for me that I live in Chicago and cannot utilize their services on a regular basis. But for any future weddings/events I happen to attend in the area, I now know who I can count on. And for those of you out in Cleveland, get on the bandwagon!"

"Went the The Studio yesterday to get my very first Cleveland haircut (it had been too long). I had put this off because I wanted to make sure I was going to the right place.
I had passed by this salon a number of times before and it looked professional and inviting (note: the giant-sized posters of hair models in the window will either frighten or allure you). The Studio is a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon, and from reading some reviews and talking to my stylist, I learned the owner (Rachelle) and I think most or all of their stylists went to the Paul Mitchell School, so that's cool.
I received excellent customer service at the salon; from my first phone call (Barry, the receptionist and "Salon Event Coordinator," is very warm and called me to remind me of my appointment). When I walked in, I was greeted cheerfully by Rachelle, who is quite a character and keeps the place upbeat and full of energy.
My stylist was Mari, who was very nice and worked with me to determine what cut, style and color (I was also getting partial highlights) I would prefer. She listened and gave suggestions when I asked for them, but was not pushy, which I really appreciate. She was friendly and we made conversation once in a while, but it wasn't overwhelming. She definitely took her time to make sure everything was perfect!
When my hair was processing I was brought to a cool little nook where you can sit on couches, watch TV or read while waiting. The Studio staff asked me several times if I was OK, wanted coffee, tea, or water. Just very attentive.
I was extremely pleased with the results of both my cut and color, and it was really affordable for the time and effort Mari put in. I would definitely recommend The Studio and plan on making it my salon of choice!"

"I think my run on cheap salons has ended. Goodbye Crazy Mullets/Fast Eddies/ "Insert Rock name here" Tattoo chick salon!
I am absolutely going back to the Studio in Ohio City.
Holding the sheers:
Stacy was pleasant, helpful and actually knew what she was doing! Did I notice that my hair was uneven in the back? Uhh...no, but thankfully Stacy did! It's so nice to have a quality haircut. ::tossles hair::
Tabatha would be proud:
Upon entering the Salon, the colors are bright and cheerful yet not over-bearing. They had quality products and they know how to display them too! Everyone was very professional and greeted me warmly.
The best part:
Stacy took me to the back room where I encountered the "lather lounge" and she let me smell all the fun products that were going in my hair. The Paul Mitchell minty lavender actually made my scalp tingle. She educated me about all the lines, but also about what she was dong. This parlayed into the hair cut too. She had several pieces of advice for doing my own hair and suggestions for more volume.
Sigh, it's just so nice to go to a salon where the staff know what they are doing and don't want you to just go through the turnstile on your way out."
